Skip the Lines: Disney Announces New Lightning Lane Premier Pass (But Read the Fine Print!)
Calling all Disney fans! Big news dropped today about a brand new service coming to both Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World. Get ready to skip the lines (sort of) with the Lightning Lane Premier Pass.
Here's the lowdown:
Limited Availability: This premium service will be offered in very limited quantities, so act fast if you're interested.
One-Time Entry Everywhere: The pass grants you access to all Lightning Lane entrances in the park you're visiting for the day. This includes both Multi Pass and Single Pass attractions (think Rise of the Resistance, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, etc.)
No Time Slots? No Problem!: Unlike the existing Lightning Lane options, you don't have to choose specific times for your rides.
Pricey Perks: Be prepared for a premium price tag. The cost will vary depending on the date and park you visit.
Disneyland Pricing: $300-400 per person, per day.
Disney World Pricing: Pricing will vary by date and theme park. Prices will range from $129-$449 per pass, with highest pricing during busier park days.
Here's where things differ between the two resorts:
Disneyland: The Premier Pass will be available for both parks (Disneyland and California Adventure) starting October 23rd, 2024. You can purchase it two days in advance of your park reservation on a first-come, first-served basis.
Walt Disney World: This perk is exclusive to guests staying at Deluxe or Deluxe Villa Resorts. The pass will only be valid for one park per day and can be purchased up to seven days before your stay. The official launch date is October 30th, 2024.
